High-Fidelity Compact Looping with Deep Rhythm and MIDI Control
The BOSS RC-5 Loop Station packs advanced looping into a compact pedal, with 32-bit AD/DA conversion and 32-bit floating-point processing to keep recorded phrases clear through repeated overdubs. Its stereo looper provides up to approximately 1.5 hours of recording per track and around 13 hours across all 99 phrase memories, while the Reverse function opens up more experimental loop textures.
A 96 x 32-dot RGB-backlit LCD shows recording, overdub and playback status at a glance. For practice and performance, the RC-5 includes 57 rhythm patterns with A/B variations, seven drum kits and rhythm reverb. External footswitches or an expression pedal can expand hands-free control, while compact TRS MIDI In/Out supports remote operation and synchronisation with compatible MIDI gear.
USB connectivity allows WAV loop backup and loading through BOSS Tone Studio. The pedal measures 73 x 129 x 56 mm (2.87 x 5.08 x 2.20”) and weighs 450 g (0.99 lb) including battery.
