PHA-50 Hammer Action with V-Piano Depth and Serious Stage Control
The Roland RD-2000 EX is built for players who need convincing piano response and deep control from the same instrument. Its 88-key PHA-50 action combines wood and moulded materials with progressive hammer weighting, escapement and Ebony/Ivory Feel surfaces, giving acoustic and electric piano parts a substantial, responsive playing surface.
Two independent sound engines handle different jobs. V-Piano technology delivers full-polyphony piano modelling, with German Concert and Essential Upright expansions already installed, while the SuperNATURAL engine covers electric pianos, organs, synths, strings, brass and more than 1,100 additional tones.
Nine sliders, eight encoder knobs and eight assignable zones let you build layered or split setups and control internal or external instruments from the panel. There are 100 Scene memories for recalling complete setups, plus 24-bit/192 kHz USB audio/MIDI, XLR and 6.35 mm outputs, MIDI I/O and pedal connections. A continuous-detection damper pedal is included.
