High-Power FRFR Response with Adjustable Amp-in-the-Room Feel
The IK Multimedia TONEX Cab is a 350W RMS / 700W peak FRFR powered guitar cabinet designed to give amp modellers and capture systems a more natural on-stage response. A custom 12" Celestion low-frequency driver works with a 1" Lavoce compression driver to deliver a 60 Hz–20 kHz response and up to 132 dB peak SPL, keeping clean sounds, high-gain tones and time-based effects clear at performance volume.
The dedicated AMP TONE control adjusts the cabinet’s response to bring more traditional amp-in-the-room feel to studio-created Tone Models, while Bass, Mid and Treble controls help adapt the sound to different rooms. Eight recallable presets can store EQ, AMP TONE and IR settings, with an onboard IR loader and 50 premium cabinet IRs included.
MIDI In/Out, USB, Main and Aux inputs, plus a pre/post XLR output support pedalboard, monitoring and FOH setups. Integrated tilt-back legs allow wedge positioning. The cabinet measures 546 x 432 x 230 mm (21.49 x 17.00 x 9.05”) and weighs 12.7 kg (28 lb). TONEX SE, AmpliTube 5 SE and TONEX Cab software are included.
