Authentic ’70s Bass Style with a Rounded Vintage Playing Feel

The Fender ’70s J Bass Neck brings distinctive period styling to a replacement build, pairing a Maple neck and fingerboard with black block inlays and black binding. Its Vintage C profile and 184.1 mm (7.25") fingerboard radius give you a more traditional rounded feel, while 20 vintage-style frets complete the old-school playing surface.

The neck measures 20.82 mm (0.820") thick at the first fret and 23.36 mm (0.920") at the 12th, with an 864 mm (34") scale and 41.3 mm (1.625") synthetic bone nut. A gloss urethane finish, walnut skunk stripe and ’70s Fender logo reinforce the vintage appearance.

The nut comes pre-slotted with pilot grooves, but final slot filing and shaping are required. Four pre-drilled tuner holes suit vintage-style four-screw mounting.
