’70s-Style Fender Bass Tuners for Period-Correct Restorations

The Fender Pure Vintage ’70s Bass Tuning Machines set is made for players restoring, modifying or maintaining a compatible vintage-style Fender bass. This set includes four clover-leaf style open-gear tuning machines with Fender-stamped plates, giving the headstock the correct ’70s-inspired look for period-style Precision Bass and Jazz Bass projects.

These tuners are built with a 20:1 gear ratio, giving you finer tuning control when setting up for rehearsal, recording or live use. Mounting screws are included, making the set useful for repairs, hardware refreshes or completing a vintage-spec build.

The tuners are used on American Vintage ’74, American Vintage ’75 and American Original ’70s basses, and they fit most ’70s-era basses. They will not retrofit to American Standard or American Deluxe basses.
