Baggs HiFi Duet Active High-Fidelity Acoustic Guitar Bridge Plate Contact Pickup & Microphone System

Mic-Like Space and Detail with Stage-Ready Feedback Control

The Baggs HiFi Duet combines two bridge-plate sensors with the Silo microphone, giving you the direct punch of a contact pickup alongside the space and dimension of a mic. The HiFi sensors capture the guitar’s attack, balance and dynamics without an undersaddle pickup, while the Silo adds the more open character you would normally associate with an external studio microphone.

The Mix control lets you move between the Silo Mic with low-frequency support from the HiFi sensors and the full-range pickups, so you can choose how much ambience or directness works for the room. Volume, Mic Level and battery check controls sit at the soundhole, keeping everything within easy reach while you play.

The bridge-plate sensors use a peel-and-stick installation with an included placement jig, avoiding modifications to the bridge or saddle. The active Class-A system runs from a 9V battery for around 150 hours and suits steel-string and 12-string guitars. Professional installation is required.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this bridge-plate pickup and microphone system is ideal for players who want a spacious, mic-like amplified sound without giving up the feedback stability and direct attack needed on stage.

Please Note: Due to the nature of this system, professional installation is recommended.
