The Yamaha YDP-146WH Arius gives beginners and returning pianists an 88-key Graded Hammer Standard keyboard with a heavier response in the bass and a lighter feel toward the treble. This graduated weighting supports proper finger control, while matte black keytops feel secure during longer practice sessions.
The Yamaha CFX piano voice has a rich, expressive sound across the keyboard, and VRM Lite recreates the resonance produced as the strings, keys and pedals interact. Three pedals provide damper, sostenuto and soft functions, with half-pedalling allowing finer control over how notes sustain and fade.
Twin 8W amplifiers and 120 mm (4.72”) speakers with diffuser grilles project clear sound throughout the room. Ten voices, 353 preset songs, a metronome and two-track recording provide useful practice tools, while two headphone sockets allow quiet playing. A bench is included.
