The Yamaha SS3 Crosstown Series Advanced Lightweight Snare Drum Stand is built for drummers who want to cut hardware weight without giving up a stable playing platform. At just 1.5 kg (3.31 lb), it uses channel-track aluminium bracing, cast aluminium pipe clamps and three channel-style legs to keep the stand light, rigid and easy to move.

An advanced three-arm snare basket holds the drum securely through repeated strokes, while large non-slip rubber feet help minimise vibration and keep the stand planted. That reduced vibration also helps the snare retain a more natural, open response rather than being overly damped by the hardware.

The normal tilter and micro wing nut design make positioning straightforward, with height adjustable from 420 to 580 mm (16.54 to 22.83"). A sand-blasted aluminium finish resists fingerprints, scuffs and oxidation, helping the stand stay looking clean over time.
