Natural Cymbal Movement with Three-Zone Expression
The Yamaha PCY100 is a 10" three-zone electronic cymbal pad designed to give you distinct edge, bow and cup responses from a single playing surface. That means where you strike the cymbal matters, letting you move between delicate cymbal work, stronger accents and powerful hits with more of the expression you expect from an acoustic cymbal.
The pad also supports cymbal choking, while its swinging movement and stick rebound are designed to feel natural under the sticks. Switch off the cup zone and the PCY100 can also be used as a hi-hat pad, giving it extra flexibility within a compatible electronic drum setup.
The PCY100 uses a standard stereo phone output and includes a stopper, felt washer and stereo phone cable. Compatibility with your drum trigger module should be checked before purchase, and DTXdrums rack installation requires a CYAT500 cymbal holder.
