Clear HSS Definition with a Fast Satin Neck and Stainless-Steel Frets

The Yamaha PACS+12 Pacifica Standard Plus pairs an Alder body with Reflectone pickups developed with Rupert Neve Designs. The HS7n and HS7m single coils keep neck and middle positions clear and articulate, while the HH7b bridge humbucker adds more weight when you dig into heavier rhythm or lead parts. Pull the Tone control to split the bridge pickup, then use the five-way selector to move through the HSS combinations.

The Maple neck has a slim C-shape profile and Natural Smooth Satin finish, so shifts along the neck feel slick rather than sticky. A Rosewood fingerboard with a 350 mm (13.75") radius and 22 medium stainless-steel frets gives bends a smooth surface with less drag, while the 648 mm (25.5") scale keeps the strings feeling firm and responsive.

Gotoh locking tuners and a Gotoh 510T FE-1 two-point tremolo handle the hardware, with a four-ply Tortoiseshell pickguard completing the Ice Blue finish. A gig bag is included.
