The Reflectone pickup set, developed with Rupert Neve Designs, produces tight low frequencies, detailed mids, and bright upper clarity that keeps complex chords and layered parts well defined. The bridge single coil delivers crisp attack and articulate rhythm tones, while the neck humbucker adds warmth and body for fuller lead lines. Engaging the Focus Switch changes the single-coil response to a thicker, overwound-style voice, increasing midrange presence and output when pushing an amplifier or stacking pedals.

The alder body is engineered using Yamaha’s Acoustic Design technology, where carefully routed chambering improves resonance and vibration transfer through the neck. This construction gives the Yamaha Pacifica SC Standard Plus a lively response, with notes sustaining naturally and reacting clearly to changes in picking dynamics. The satin-finished Rounded C maple neck and 12 inch maple fingerboard create a smooth, fast playing surface, while medium jumbo stainless steel frets provide durability and consistent feel across the fretboard.
