The Reflectone pickup set, developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs, produces tight low-end response, clear mids, and bright upper detail that keeps chords defined even when gain or effects are added. The bridge single coil provides crisp attack and clarity for rhythm work, while the neck humbucker introduces a thicker, warmer voice suited to lead playing. Activating the Focus Switch changes the single-coil behaviour to a more overwound-style response, adding midrange push and output that helps drive an amplifier harder.

The alder body is engineered with Yamaha’s Acoustic Design technology, where carefully routed chambering improves resonance and vibration transfer through the neck. That construction gives the Yamaha Pacifica SC Standard Plus a lively response that can be felt through the body, with notes sustaining naturally and reacting clearly to subtle picking changes. The satin-finished Rounded C maple neck and 12 inch maple fingerboard create a smooth, fast playing surface, while medium jumbo stainless steel frets maintain consistent feel and durability over time.
