Activating the Focus Switch changes the single-coil behaviour to a more overwound-style response, adding midrange push and output that helps drive an amplifier harder.

The alder body is engineered with Yamaha’s Acoustic Design technology, where carefully routed chambering improves resonance and vibration transfer through the neck.
