Resonant Electric Response with Expanded Tonal Control

Yamaha Pacifica SC Standard Plus is designed for players who want a wide tonal range without sacrificing clarity or control. Reflectone pickups, developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs, combine a humbucker and single-coil layout to deliver strong low-end definition, clear note separation, and bright upper harmonics. This configuration allows the Yamaha Pacifica SC Standard Plus to move easily between sharper, articulate rhythm sounds and fuller, thicker lead tones. The push-pull Focus Switch alters the single-coil response to create a more overwound-style voice, giving players extra output and midrange presence when pushing an amp or pedal chain.

An alder body shaped with Acoustic Design technology uses precise routing to increase vibration transfer through the neck, which improves resonance and sustain. The Rounded C profile maple neck, satin finish, and 12 inch rosewood fingerboard radius provide a smooth, controlled feel that balances comfort with fast movement across the fretboard. Medium jumbo stainless steel frets and Gotoh locking tuners support stable tuning and long-term durability during regular playing or live performance.
