Rich Dreadnought Tone with Rosewood Depth and Sustain

The Yamaha FG830 NT in Natural is a solid-top dreadnought acoustic built for players who want a fuller, more resonant steel-string voice. Its solid Spruce top gives the guitar a clear and responsive foundation, while Rosewood back and sides add rich overtones, greater depth and improved sustain.

The dreadnought-style body provides strong projection for strumming, chord work and acoustic performance, while Yamaha’s newly developed scalloped bracing helps the guitar respond with better resonance and balance. Abalone inlay around the soundhole adds a more refined look, making the FG830 an obvious step up in both sound and presentation.

The Nato neck has a matt finish and is paired with a Rosewood fingerboard, 400 mm (15 3/4") radius, 20 frets and a 650 mm (25 9/16") scale length. A 43 mm (1 11/16") urea nut, Rosewood bridge, die-cast chrome machine heads and tortoise-pattern pickguard complete the acoustic setup.
