Yamaha CWHSAT9 Multi-Function Cymbal Stand / Bass Drum Hoop Clamp

Add Percussion or Free Up Floor Space Around Your Hi-Hat

The Yamaha CWHSAT9 is a versatile hardware attachment designed to solve two different setup problems around the drum kit. It can clamp to a bass drum hoop or compatible stand, giving you a mounting point for additional percussion hardware such as a cowbell or boom arm.

It can also be used to support a hi-hat stand when the stand’s legs are folded closed. By clamping the hi-hat stand to nearby hardware, you can keep it stable without spreading its tripod across the floor, leaving more room for a second bass drum or double-pedal arrangement.

That makes the CWHSAT9 useful for compact or more complex setups where floor space is tight and extra mounting flexibility matters. Rather than adding another complete stand, it lets existing drum hardware do more work.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this hardware attachment is especially useful for drummers building double-bass or space-conscious setups who need a secure way to mount extra percussion or support a legless hi-hat position.
