Yamaha AC1R VN Solid Top Concert Acoustic Guitar w/ Pickup Vintage Natural

Responsive Concert-Body Tone with Flexible Onboard Sound Control

The Yamaha AC1R pairs a solid Sitka Spruce top with Rosewood back and sides in a compact concert cutaway body. Scalloped bracing is designed to produce a louder, richer acoustic response, while the cutaway gives your fretting hand more room when playing further up the neck.

The 3-ply African Mahogany neck has a Matt finish and Yamaha’s high-comfort profile, paired with a Rosewood fingerboard, 400 mm (15.75") radius and 650 mm (25.59") scale. A 43 mm (1.69") nut and 11 mm (0.43") string spacing provide familiar proportions for chord work, picking and fingerstyle playing. SYSTEM72 electronics use an SRT piezo pickup, with onboard Volume, 3-band EQ, Mid Frequency and tuner controls for shaping the amplified sound directly from the guitar. The Vintage Natural body has a Gloss finish, with Mahogany and Cream binding and a tortoise-pattern pickguard.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this concert acoustic-electric guitar makes sense for players who want a comfortable body size, solid-top response and useful onboard control for both acoustic and amplified playing.
