Yamaha SS850 800 Series Double Braced Snare Stand

Double-Braced Support for a Solid, Adjustable Snare Setup

The Yamaha SS850 800 Series Snare Stand is a medium-weight stand built with three double-braced legs for dependable support around the kit. Large rubber feet give the stand a broad contact point with the floor, while Yamaha’s durable hardware construction makes it suited to regular rehearsal, stage and practice use.

The three-arm basket holds the snare securely and includes a dedicated adjustment knob so you can set the fit around the drum. A conventional tilter lets you adjust the snare angle to suit your playing position, whether you prefer the drum relatively flat or tilted towards you.

Height adjusts from 450 to 630 mm (17.72 to 24.80"), giving you a useful range for different seating positions and setup preferences. The double-braced legs add extra structural support while keeping the stand within a medium-weight format.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this snare stand is a practical choice for drummers who want robust double-braced hardware, straightforward adjustment and a dependable everyday platform for their snare.
