Yamaha SS740A 700 Series Single Braced Snare Stand

Reliable Snare Support with a Lighter Single-Braced Design

The Yamaha SS740A 700 Series Snare Stand is a medium-weight stand designed to give drummers dependable support without the extra bulk of double-braced hardware. Its three single-braced legs keep the stand lighter to carry, while large rubber feet provide a stable contact point with the floor.

The three-arm basket holds the snare in position and can be adjusted using the dedicated basket adjustment knob. A conventional tilter lets you set the playing angle to suit your setup, whether you prefer the drum flat or tilted towards you.

Height adjusts from 450 to 610 mm (17.72 to 24.02"), giving you enough range to position the snare comfortably for seated playing. The combination of straightforward adjustment, medium weight and single-braced construction makes the SS740A practical for regular rehearsals, gigs and home setups.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this snare stand is a solid choice for drummers who want reliable Yamaha hardware with less weight to move around than a heavier double-braced stand.
