Stick Shield is highly impact resistant and 8X stronger than Steel with maximum tensile strength, to give you amazing durability in the rim shot area.

The Vater brand was officially established in November of 1991, but the Vater family history with drumsticks started decades earlier, making a few bespoke items in the basement of Boston's legendary Jack's Drum Shop. Now with their headquarters in Holbrook Massachusetts, their product line features hundreds of different models and welcomes world renowned drummers like Chad Smith, Stewart Copeland, and Josh Freese.
