The West Side is a real unique sounding stick. The grip size measures comfortably in-between a 5A and 5B. The small rounded oval style tip blends right into the neck and taper of the stick for a unique feel and sound dynamic.

The Vater brand was officially established in November of 1991, but the Vater family history with drumsticks started decades earlier, making a few bespoke items in the basement of Boston's legendary Jack's Drum Shop. Now with their headquarters in Holbrook Massachusetts, their product line features hundreds of different models and welcomes world renowned drummers like Chad Smith, Stewart Copeland, and Josh Freese.
