Compared with a full-scale bass, the 596.9 mm (23.5") scale keeps stretches compact under your fretting hand while the low B adds the extra depth and range of a five-string. The solid swamp ash body gives you a stable, electric-bass-like feel against you, and the maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and 24 frets make position shifts quick across the short scale.

A bridge-mounted piezo system feeds L.R. Baggs active electronics, giving the amplified sound a direct, responsive character with onboard Volume, Bass and Treble controls for shaping low-end weight and definition. Custom Hipshot Ultralite tuners and a Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut support the compact USA-made build, while the Natural finish leaves the timber clearly visible.
