Full-Scale Aerodyne Styling With Factory DiMarzio HSS Electronics

The Fender Japan AST-DMC Aerodyne Special Stratocaster combines a sculpted Aerodyne-style body with a curly maple laminate top, transparent red finish, cream binding and matching painted headstock. A maple neck and rosewood fingerboard complete the build, while the 648 mm (25.5") scale length, 241 mm (9.5") fingerboard radius and 22 frets give it the full-scale Fender layout rather than the shorter scale used on some Aerodyne models.

The factory DiMarzio Collection Heavy Drive HSS pickup set combines two single coils with a bridge humbucker, selected through a five-way switch with one volume and two tone controls. A six-screw vintage-style synchronised tremolo and vintage-style machine heads keep the hardware layout familiar.
