The Tama BE52ZBAS GAC Starclassic Bubinga is a limited-edition 6-piece shell pack that revives the deep, powerful sound of the original Starclassic Bubinga series. Its toms and floor toms use 6mm shells with eight plies of African bubinga and one outer ply of figured African cherry, while the bass drum and snare use thicker 7mm shells.

African bubinga gives the kit a thunderous low end, strong attack and dark, lustrous tonal character. The deeper tom dimensions reinforce that low-frequency emphasis, while the 22" x 16" bass drum is built without a tom-holder base to help preserve natural shell resonance. Compared with brighter or more lightly built drum kits, this Starclassic Bubinga setup prioritises body, depth and authoritative response.

The included 14" x 6.5" snare uses die-cast hoops and 20-strand Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon snare wires for a focused, controlled response. Figured African cherry outer plies, Gloss African Cherry finish and black nickel shell hardware give the kit a visually commanding presentation.
