Starclassic Performer Shell Pack With Hyper-Drive Tom Sizes

The Tama MBS52HZBNS SGR Starclassic Performer is a limited edition 6-piece maple/birch shell pack in Smoky Gray with black nickel shell hardware. The configuration includes a 22"x18" bass drum without tom holder base, 10"x6.5" and 12"x7" rack toms, 14"x12" and 16"x14" floor toms, two MC69 single tom attachments and a matching 14"x5.5" snare drum.

The Hyper-Drive rack toms keep the setup lower and easier to position, especially for players who prefer tighter tom placement or clearer visibility across the kit. Their shorter depths give the toms a quick, clean response while still sitting naturally with the deeper floor toms and full-size bass drum.

The toms, floor toms and snare use 6mm shells made from 4-ply birch with 2 inner plies of maple. The bass drum uses a 7mm shell with 5-ply birch and 2 inner plies of maple. Tama’s Star-Cast mounting system helps the rack toms stay resonant and stable, while the included snare features die-cast hoops, and 20-strand Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon snare wires.
