Short-Scale StingRay Feel with Three Pickup Modes and a 12 dB Boost

The Sterling by Music Man RAYSS4 StingRay compresses the familiar StingRay format into a 762 mm (30") short scale, reducing string tension for smoother fretting and an easier feel across the neck. Its Sterling-designed Neodymium humbucker works with a 3-way rotary selector, giving you parallel, true single-coil and series modes from the same pickup for a broader range of sounds without adding extra controls.

A push-push volume control activates a 12 dB boost for extra punch and presence when you need to step forward in the mix, with a separate tone control handling further shaping. The Roasted Maple neck is paired with a Rosewood fingerboard, 241 mm (9.5") radius and 22 Medium frets, while the 38 mm (1.5") nut keeps the neck compact at the first position.

Toluca Lake Blue and a Pearloid pickguard give the Nyatoh body a distinctive look, with open-gear tuners, a six-bolt neck attachment and Sterling by Music Man-designed bridge completing the setup.
