Sterling by Music Man RAY34HHSM StingRay HH Spalted Maple Top Electric Bass Blood Orange Burst

Dual-Humbucker StingRay Power with Expanded Switching Range

The Sterling by Music Man RAY34HHSM StingRay HH expands the familiar StingRay formula with two Alnico humbuckers, a 5-way pickup selector and a 3-band active preamp. The extra pickup and switching options give you a broader tonal range than a single-humbucker layout, while the active EQ lets you shape the response directly from the bass for different playing styles and rigs.

A Roasted Maple neck pairs with a Rosewood fingerboard, 241 mm (9.5") radius and 21 Medium frets. Its heat-treated construction improves stability and resistance to warping, while the smooth neck feel makes shifts up and down the 864 mm (34") scale comfortable. The neck measures 43 mm (1.69") at the nut and 62 mm (2.44") at the final fret.

The Nyatoh body has a Spalted Maple veneer top under the Blood Orange Burst finish, with a Transparent pickguard allowing the figuring to remain visible. Rounded body contours help the bass sit comfortably against you, while open-gear tuners, a dual-action truss rod and six-bolt neck attachment complete the setup.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this electric bass is ideal for players who want StingRay-style punch with the added tonal flexibility of two humbuckers, 5-way switching and active 3-band EQ.
