Modern HSS Versatility with a Roasted Maple Neck and Mid Boost
The Sterling by Music Man Cutlass CT50HSS Plus takes the familiar Cutlass platform in a more modern direction, pairing a Poplar body with a roasted Maple neck and matching roasted Maple fingerboard. The 305 mm (12") radius, 22 Medium frets and 648 mm (25.5") scale give it a contemporary playing surface, while white Pearloid block inlays add a distinctive visual touch against the Chalk Grey finish and Black pickguard.
Modern HSS pickups combine a bridge humbucker with two single-coil positions, giving the five-way selector plenty of ground to cover. A push-push Mid Boost built into the volume control adds extra punch when you want the guitar to sound fuller and more assertive, without swapping guitars or reaching for another pedal.
A Vintage Tremolo handles pitch movement, while locking tuners and a five-bolt neck attachment round out the hardware.
At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this HSS electric guitar is a strong fit for modern players who want broad pickup versatility, a roasted Maple neck and an onboard mid boost for quickly adding extra weight when needed.
