The Squier Paranormal Precision Bass Thinline SJ in Olive reimagines the original Fender bass shape with semi-hollow thinline construction, adding natural acoustic resonance and reduced weight for a more comfortable playing experience. The ’51 Precision Bass body shape keeps the look familiar, while the thinline build gives this Paranormal model its own character.

The SJ pickup configuration pairs a Fender-Designed alnico single-coil ’51 P Bass pickup in the neck position with a Fender-Designed alnico single-coil Jazz Bass pickup at the bridge. A 3-way blade switch moves between deep, thumping P Bass warmth, focused Jazz Bass bite and the combined setting in between.

A comfortable C-shaped neck profile and satin urethane neck finish give the bass a smooth feel under the fingers. The 4-saddle vintage-style bridge with slotted barrel saddles supports classic-style setup adjustment, while vintage-style open-gear tuning machines help keep tuning smooth and accurate.
