High-Gain Metal Tone with a Fast, Stripped-Back Setup
The Spira SR-400 brings classic 1980s metal attitude into a modern star-shaped electric guitar built for aggressive rhythm and lead work. Its pair of Spira Villain ceramic humbuckers are rated at 12k output, delivering tight lows, punchy mids and cutting highs that stay articulate under heavy gain. One volume and one tone control keep the electronics direct and uncluttered.
A Canadian Roasted Maple neck with Modern D profile is paired with a Hi Grade Ebony Tech fingerboard and 355.6 mm (14”) radius. The 647.7 mm (25.5”) scale, 43 mm (1.69”) bone nut and 24 jumbo frets create a fast playing platform with plenty of upper-register range.
The Roasted Poplar body wears a Satin Black finish with matching Black hardware. A fixed hardtail bridge supports tuning stability and sustain, making the SR-400 well suited to tight rhythm work and precise lead playing.
