The Roland E-X10 is a 61-key portable arranger keyboard aimed at beginners who want more than a basic practice instrument. Its velocity-sensitive keys respond to how firmly you play, while 601 tones and nine drum sets cover acoustic and electric pianos, organs, orchestral sounds, synths, percussion and more.
With 207 accompaniment Styles, you can play chords with your left hand and have the keyboard build a backing arrangement around them while you handle melodies with the right. There are also 140 onboard songs with lesson functions and scoring, plus a metronome and recorder for checking your timing and progress.
A microphone input lets you sing through the keyboard, while Aux In handles external audio and USB MIDI connects to compatible computer software and learning apps. Built-in stereo speakers make it self-contained, and at 3.9 kg (8.6 lb) it is easy to move around. The included AC adaptor handles home use, with six AA batteries supported for portable playing. A music rest is also included.
