Single-Coil Cut with a Smooth Neck and Fixed-Bridge Feel

The Patina Guitars PT-3 combines two custom handwound Alnico V single-coils with a straightforward fixed-bridge design for crisp attack, twang and plenty of definition. Rated at 7k output, the pickups keep clean country-style lines articulate while retaining bite and focus through distortion without becoming brittle. One volume and one tone control make it easy to shape the sound without overcomplicating the layout.

The quarter-sawn Roasted Maple neck has a Satin Nitrocellulose finish and Modern C profile, giving it a smooth, broken-in feel from the first chord. Its Rosewood fingerboard uses a 349.3 mm (13.75”) radius with 22 rounded-edge jumbo stainless steel frets, while the 647.7 mm (25.5”) scale and 42 mm (1.65”) bone nut keep the proportions familiar.

A lightweight Paulownia body wears a Sherwood Green Nitrocellulose finish designed to check and wear naturally with use. A Parchmentpickguard, Chrome hardware, fixed bridge and 19:1 locking tuners complete the setup.
