Road-Worn HSS Versatility from Sparkle to Bridge-Pickup Grunt

The Patina Guitars PS-7 HSS pairs two custom handwound Alnico V single-coils with a higher-output bridge humbucker for a wide spread of clean and driven sounds. The neck and middle positions bring shimmer and clarity, while the 16k bridge humbucker adds more weight and grunt without losing definition. A five-way switch, one volume and two tone controls keep the HSS layout familiar and easy to navigate.

The quarter-sawn Roasted Maple neck uses a Modern C profile with a Satin finish, paired with a Rosewood fingerboard and 349.3 mm (13.75”) radius. A 647.7 mm (25.5”) scale, 42 mm (1.65”) bone nut and 22 rounded-edge jumbo stainless steel frets give bends, vibrato and position shifts a smooth playing surface. Luminescent side dots help with orientation on dark stages.

The lightweight Paulownia body wears an Olympic White Nitrocellulose finish with relicing and checking already applied. A tremolo bridge, 19:1 locking tuners, Chrome hardware and Tortoiseshell pickguard complete the build.
