Flexible HSS Tones with Road-Worn Lake Placid Blue Character

The Patina Guitars PS-7 HSS covers everything from bright, shimmering single-coil sounds to a thicker bridge voice with more grunt. Two custom handwound Alnico V single-coils handle the neck and middle positions, while the 16k bridge humbucker adds extra output for driven riffs and lead work without sacrificing definition. A five-way switch, one volume and two tone controls make it easy to move between clean sparkle and heavier sounds.

The quarter-sawn Roasted Maple neck has a Modern C profile and Satin finish, paired with a Rosewood fingerboard and 349.3 mm (13.75”) radius. A 647.7 mm (25.5”) scale, 42 mm (1.65”) bone nut and 22 rounded-edge jumbo stainless steel frets provide a smooth, durable playing surface, while luminescent side dots help on dark stages.

The lightweight Paulownia body wears a Lake Placid Blue Nitrocellulose finish with relicing and checking already applied. A tremolo bridge, 19:1 locking tuners, Chrome hardware and Tortoiseshell pickguard complete the setup.
