Single-Coil Sparkle with a Harder-Hitting Bridge Voice

The Patina Guitars PS-7 HSS combines two custom handwound Alnico V single-coils with a higher-output bridge humbucker for a broad mix of clean and driven tones. The neck and middle positions deliver shimmer and definition, while the 16k bridge humbucker brings extra weight and grunt without losing clarity. A five-way switch, one volume and two tone controls keep the HSS layout straightforward.

The quarter-sawn Roasted Maple neck uses a Modern C profile with a Satin finish, paired with a Rosewood fingerboard and 349.3 mm (13.75”) radius. Its 647.7 mm (25.5”) scale, 42 mm (1.65”) bone nut and 22 rounded-edge jumbo stainless steel frets provide a smooth, durable playing surface. Luminescent side dots help with positioning on darker stages.

The lightweight Paulownia body wears a Purple Nitrocellulose finish with relicing and checking already applied for an aged appearance from day one. A tremolo bridge, 19:1 locking tuners, Chrome hardware and Tortoiseshell pickguard complete the setup.
