Clear Single-Coil Detail with Extra Bridge Pickup Muscle

The Patina Guitars PS-4 HSS covers a broad range of sounds with two custom handwound Alnico V single-coils and a 16k bridge humbucker. The neck and middle pickups bring shimmer and articulation to clean parts, while the bridge adds more output and weight for overdrive, riffs and lead work without losing focus. One volume and two tone controls keep the familiar HSS layout straightforward.

The quarter-sawn Roasted Maple neck uses a Modern C profile with a Satin Nitrocellulose finish, paired with a Rosewood fingerboard and 349.3 mm (13.75”) radius. Its 647.7 mm (25.5”) scale, 42 mm (1.65”) bone nut and 22 rounded-edge jumbo stainless steel frets give bends, vibrato and position shifts a smooth playing surface. Luminescent side dots help on darker stages.

The lightweight Paulownia body is finished in Olympic White Nitrocellulose, which can check and wear naturally with use. A tremolo bridge, 19:1 locking tuners, Chrome hardware and Tortoiseshell pickguard complete the guitar.
