Articulate Single-Coil Tone with a Smooth Roasted Maple Neck

The Patina Guitars PS-3 pairs three custom handwound Alnico V single-coils with a classic double-cutaway platform for clear, lively tones. Rated at 7k output, the pickups deliver snap, chime and distinctive in-between quack, with articulate cleans and focused drive that keeps plenty of bite without turning harsh. One volume and two tone controls keep the layout simple.

The quarter-sawn Roasted Maple neck has a Satin finish and Modern C profile, matched with a Rosewood fingerboard and 349.3 mm (13.75”) radius. A 42 mm (1.65”) bone nut, 647.7 mm (25.5”) scale and 22 jumbo stainless steel frets with rounded edges give the neck a modern, comfortable playing feel. Luminescent side dots improve visibility on darker stages.

The lightweight Paulownia body is finished in Olympic White Nitrocellulose, allowing the finish to check, wear and develop its own character with use. A tremolo bridge, 19:1 locking tuners and Chrome hardware complete the build.
