Chime, Quack and Focused Drive from a Classic SSS Layout

The Patina Guitars PS-3 delivers the snap, chime and in-between quack associated with three single-coils, using custom handwound Alnico V pickups rated at 7k output. Cleans stay articulate and open, while driven sounds retain focus and bite without becoming harsh. One volume and two tone controls keep the setup direct and familiar.

A quarter-sawn Roasted Maple neck with Satin finish uses a Modern C profile, paired with a Rosewood fingerboard and 349.3 mm (13.75”) radius. The 647.7 mm (25.5”) scale and 42 mm (1.65”) bone nut provide familiar proportions, while 22 rounded-edge jumbo stainless steel frets offer a smooth, durable playing surface. Luminescent side dots help with orientation on darker stages.

The lightweight Paulownia body wears a Lake Placid Blue Nitrocellulose finish that can check and wear naturally as the guitar is played. A tremolo bridge, 19:1 locking tuners and Chrome hardware complete the setup.
