Paiste Colour Sound 900 Series Black 10" Splash Cymbal

Fast, Explosive Splash Accents with a Focused Black Finish

The Paiste Colour Sound 900 Series Black 10" Splash Cymbal is built for short, immediate accents with a medium-bright character and quick decay. Its light weight and soft feel give it a lively response, while the washy stick sound opens into a full, clean splash without hanging around for long.

Made from CuSn8 Bronze, also known as 2002 Bronze, it has a fairly wide frequency range, medium volume and short sustain. The Colour Sound coating keeps the essential sound and flexible feel of the 900 Series while making the cymbal slightly drier, shortening the sustain further and giving the attack a more focused edge.

The translucent Black finish leaves the natural grooves and hammer marks visible beneath the colour, giving the cymbal a distinctive look without hiding its surface detail. Its rounded, fast response suits live playing and recording across a broad range of musical styles.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this Splash cymbal is ideal for drummers who want quick, clean accents with an explosive response, short decay and focused Black-coated character.
