Its fairly bright, warm and sweet character centres around a silvery, pearling ping, while the underlying wash stays controlled so your sticking remains easy to hear.

The narrow frequency range and clean mix help keep the cymbal precise, and the dry response stops the sound from spreading too far after each note. Sustain is short, making it especially easy to control when you want clear rhythmic articulation rather than a large build-up of wash.
