The Meinl B13EDMH Byzance Extra Dry 13" Medium Hi-Hats are designed for drummers who want crisp definition, short sustain and a darker, lower-pitched response. Made in Turkey from B20 bronze, these hi-hats are hand hammered and finished raw, giving them a dry, complex sound with minimal wash.

The weight relationship between the top and bottom cymbals is central to the feel and response. A lighter top cymbal produces a dark stick sound with controlled spread, while the heavier bottom cymbal gives the hi-hats a fat, defined chick.
