Balanced Rosewood Depth with the Projection of a Longer Scale

The Martin OM-28 combines a solid Spruce top with solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides for a balanced acoustic voice with deep bass, rich overtones and clear trebles. Its 645.2 mm (25.4”) scale adds string tension, helping notes project with a brighter edge and sustain clearly whether you are fingerpicking, flatpicking or strumming.

GE scalloped Spruce X-bracing uses 6.35 mm (1/4”) braces to support the top’s response, while the Ebony bridge, compensated bone saddle and bone pins provide a traditional foundation. Bold Herringbone top inlay, Antique White binding and Faux Tortoise details complete the Style 28 presentation.

The Satin Select Hardwood neck uses a GE Modified Low Oval profile with High-Performance Taper, paired with an Ebony fingerboard and a 44.45 mm (1.75”) nut. Twenty frets and a 14th-fret neck joint complete the familiar playing layout. A Moulded Hardshell Case is included.
