Bold Dreadnought Projection with Built-In Martin Electronics

The Martin D-X2E Mahogany combines a solid Spruce top with Figured Mahogany HPL back and sides for a durable acoustic-electric built around the strong bass and projection of a Dreadnought body. Scalloped Spruce X-bracing supports the top’s response, while the 645.2 mm (25.4”) scale provides a familiar full-scale playing feel for strumming, flatpicking and accompaniment.

The Select Hardwood neck uses Martin’s PA Profile with High-Performance Taper, paired with a thinner Select Hardwood fingerboard, gently bevelled comfort edge and 44.45 mm (1.75”) nut width. A refined bridge contour and string spacing further contribute to comfortable everyday playability.

Martin E-1 electronics provide volume, tone and phase controls for amplified use, plus a built-in chromatic tuner that mutes the output for silent tuning. Satin Chrome closed-gear tuners and a single-ring Abalone Pattern rosette complete the understated Mahogany look. A Softshell Case is included.
