Clear Mahogany Punch with Full Dreadnought Projection

The Martin D-18 pairs a solid Spruce top with solid Mahogany back and sides for a clear, balanced voice with strong projection, punchy mids and bright treble definition. Its Dreadnought body brings plenty of bass weight for strumming and flatpicking, while the Spruce / Mahogany combo keeps individual notes articulate rather than overly dense.

Forward-shifted GE scalloped X-bracing uses 7.94 mm (5/16”) Spruce braces, helping the top respond freely with strong sustain and dynamic range. An Ebony bridge, compensated bone saddle and Ebony bridge pins provide a traditional foundation for the strings.

The Satin Select Hardwood neck uses Martin’s GE Modified Low Oval profile with High-Performance Taper, paired with an Ebony fingerboard and 44.45 mm (1.75”) nut. Its 645.2 mm (25.4”) scale gives the strings a firm, responsive feel, while the 14th-fret neck joint and 20-fret layout keep the familiar D-18 geometry intact. A Hardshell Case is included.
