The Mackie 2404VLZ4 is a 24-channel, 4-bus analogue mixer designed to deliver professional sound quality and reliable control for live sound, installation and recording environments. Twenty boutique-quality Onyx microphone preamps provide up to 60 dB of gain with extremely low distortion and extended frequency response, ensuring clear and noise-free signal capture across microphones and line-level sources. Phantom power supports condenser microphones, while integrated channel compression on channels 17–20 provides dynamic control for critical inputs.
Each channel features a 3-band EQ with sweepable midrange and a 100 Hz low-cut filter for precise tonal shaping. Six aux sends, with flexible routing options, allow monitor mixes and external effects integration, while four subgroups and group inserts support more advanced signal routing. Dual 32-bit RMFX+ processors provide 24 live-ready effects including reverbs, choruses and tap delay.
A built-in 4x2 24-bit USB interface enables straightforward recording to Mac or PC, making the 2404VLZ4 suitable for both live mixing and capture.
