The M-Audio Forty Sixty is a 6.5" bi-amplified studio monitor built for mixing, production, DJ work and content creation. Its Kevlar woofer and 1" soft-dome tweeter are powered by separate Class AB amplifiers delivering 60W to the low frequencies and 40W to the highs, with DSP handling crossover and EQ duties. Frequency response extends from 39 Hz–22 kHz, with a maximum output of 113 dB SPL.

Front-panel listening modes make it easy to check a mix from different perspectives. FLAT provides the main reference response, while HYPE shifts the presentation towards the kind of sound commonly heard through earbuds and car stereos. A custom mode works with the M-Audio Forty Series Control App, giving you access to presets and a 5-band EQ for tailoring the monitor to your room or preferences.

Bluetooth 5.3 supports TWS stereo wireless streaming, while XLR and TRS analogue inputs handle studio connections. A rear trim control provides input-level adjustment.
