Baggs M1 Active Acoustic Guitar Soundhole Body-Sensitive Magnetic Pickup

Magnetic Cut with More of Your Acoustic Guitar’s Body in the Sound

The Baggs M1 Active is a soundhole magnetic pickup that does more than just hear the strings. Its suspended secondary coil also reacts to movement from the guitar top, blending body resonance into the magnetic signal so the amplified sound keeps more warmth and acoustic character when you plug in.

That body-sensitive design gives you plenty of cut for louder bands while staying highly resistant to feedback. Adjustable pole pieces let you balance the response across different string types and gauges, and the humbucking design keeps things quiet. A low-profile Volume wheel sits directly on the pickup, so level changes are easy to make while you play.

The built-in Class-A preamp drives the signal straight to a PA or amplifier, with no external preamp required. A single CR2032 3V battery provides up to 1,000 hours of operation. The pickup includes a 50.8 mm (2") strapjack assembly, spare pole pieces and a 2.4 mm (3/32") Allen key. Professional installation is required.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this active soundhole pickup is a great choice for steel-string and 12-string players who need strong feedback resistance, easy onboard volume control and a fuller body-sensitive magnetic sound for live use.

Please Note: Due to the nature of this system, professional installation is recommended.
