The Katoh MCG150C Professional Series classical guitar pairs a select solid cedar soundboard with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, producing a warm, responsive voice with controlled overtones. Solid cedar delivers immediate tonal bloom and sensitivity to light touch, making the instrument particularly expressive for nuanced classical repertoire. Solid rosewood adds depth and sustain, supporting clear bass fundamentals and singing trebles without overpowering the midrange.

Based on the Hauser design, the guitar emphasises balance and even response across the fingerboard. Spanish fan bracing and a traditional Spanish neck joint contribute to structural integrity and tonal cohesion, helping each note project cleanly. The 650 mm scale length maintains classical string tension, while the 52 mm nut width provides comfortable spacing for precise right-hand articulation. A rosewood fingerboard and bone nut and saddle enhance clarity and consistent intonation.

High gloss PU finish protects the tonewoods while maintaining resonance, and gold tuning machines provide smooth adjustment. Supplied with a Katoh wooden case for protection.
