Comfortable Nylon-String Playability for Developing Classical Technique

The Katoh Evolution EV5 Student Series is a full-size classical guitar built for students developing clean fretting, fingerstyle control and confident chord work. Its Spruce top and Sapele Mahogany back and sides provide a balanced acoustic voice, while the satin finish keeps the guitar feeling smooth and natural against the player.

The Nato Mahogany neck carries a radiused Rosewood fingerboard, giving the fretting hand a gently curved surface rather than a traditional flat classical board. A 48 mm (1.89”) nut leaves useful space between the strings for accurate finger placement, while the 650 mm (25.59”) scale provides familiar full-size nylon-string tension.

The EV5 has 19 frets, a Rosewood bridge, and bone nut and saddle. A bag is included for storage, lessons and transport.
