Compact Jazz Bass Feel with a 23" Scale Built for Travel
The JET Guitars JB-300-TRAVEL takes a Jazz Bass-style body and shrinks the playing length down to a 584.2 mm (23") scale, bringing the frets noticeably closer together and reducing the reach between positions. The Canadian Roasted Maple neck has a Modern C profile, while the Roasted Maple fingerboard uses a 304.8 mm (12") radius and 19 frets for a flatter feel under the fingers.
Two JB-style pickups give you separate Volume controls for blending the neck and bridge sounds, with a shared Tone control for rolling off the top end. That familiar layout makes it easy to move from a rounder neck-pickup sound to more bridge definition without anything complicated in the way. The Roasted Poplar body is finished in Pink with a Red Tortoise pickguard, while Chrome vintage-style tuners and a four-saddle bridge complete the hardware.
