The Ibanez SR506A MHL in Mahogany Brown Burst Low Gloss is a 6-string SR bass for players who need both deep low-end reach and upper-register melodic range. Tuned C, G, D, A, E, B, it gives bassists more room for chord voicings, solo lines, session work and modern arrangements while keeping the slim SR body comfortable to manage.

The okoume body provides a bright, solid sound, while the SR6 5-piece roasted maple/walnut neck is heat-treated for added stability, durability and resistance to temperature and moisture changes. A 864 mm (34”) scale, 54 mm (2.13”) nut width, rosewood fretboard, 400 mm (15.75”) radius and 24 medium frets help the wider 6-string layout feel controlled rather than oversized.

Bartolini BH2 pickups provide tight bottom-end, punchy midrange and smooth response, with long blade pole pieces supporting balanced string-to-string output. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ gives you active bass, mid and treble control, plus EQ bypass for passive operation.

The MR5S bridge allows +/-1.5mm adjustable string spacing around 16.5 mm (0.65”), and Ibanez machine heads complete the black hardware setup.
